Why Pilates at Hendrick Health Club?

Pilates at Hendrick Health Club is different from what most people expect. This isn’t about pushing harder or keeping up. It’s about learning how to move well again.
Our Pilates sessions are built for adults who want:
- Clear guidance instead of guesswork
- A safe way to build strength and stability
- Coaching that respects where their body is today
Every session is led by an instructor who watches your movement, offers options, and helps you feel confident doing the exercises correctly.

Meet Your Instructors

Rene Harrison
Pilates Instructor
Rene has been helping people move and feel better for over 16 years at Hendrick Health Club. She specializes in working with adults who want safe, guided movement that actually makes a difference in everyday life.
Rene is a Stott Pilates–certified instructor and a NASM-certified personal trainer, with a background in corporate fitness. She played a key role in opening the Hendrick Health Club Pilates studio and brings years of experience teaching, coaching, and supporting members at every level.
Her teaching style is calm, encouraging, and focused on listening. Rene takes the time to understand how your body feels so she can help you move with confidence and comfort, not pressure. When she’s not teaching, Rene enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Milena Kasper
Pilates Instructor
Milena has over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer and 12 years teaching Pilates to individuals and groups. She is a NASM-certified personal trainer and a STOTT Pilates instructor with advanced training.
Milena loves Pilates because it trains the body in a gentle, thoughtful way using different types of resistance and equipment. Her classes focus on balance, strength, flexibility, and awareness of movement, starting with a strong, supported core so everyday tasks feel easier.
Her teaching style is patient, educational, and supportive. Milena helps clients understand what their body is doing and why, so they feel more confident moving both in and out of class. She also shares simple tools to help people manage aches, strains, and daily movement more safely.
Having experienced injuries herself, Milena understands what it’s like to move through pain and recovery. That perspective allows her to meet clients with empathy and help them feel supported at every stage.
Outside of teaching, Milena enjoys learning about how the body works and sharing that knowledge with others.
